New wheels
Hey guys I found a set of wheels that doesn't match my wheel pattern I know that I can buy adapters to "compensate" for that but they have a +22 offset how thick do the adapters have to be. By the way it's a 72 gmc 2wd

We're going to need more info to help out. How wide are the wheels? The offset is meaningless without knowing the width. Once we know the offset and width, we can convert to the backspacing which is what most of us are used to dealing with.

IIRC the "offset" is the distance from the centerline of the wheel to the mounting surface....and the "backspacing" is the distance from the back side of the wheel to the mounting surface...now as to whether the wheels mentioned will fit...can't help there

OP - you need to know how wide the wheels are, then you need to buy a tape measure and find a straight edge.

I believe there 22 mm = .866= 7/8 . 7/8 off the center of rim. It said +22 but not sure which side of the middle there talking. Front or back
