I've always liked the original squares. The second gen square are nice with the 89-91 grille and lights but my intercooler won't fit between that headlight setup. I got the whole front clip, a brake drum for the 14bolt and a complete passenger door for $200

It's actually really easy to stick a intercooler in a 89 - 91 core support. That what I've done on mine. I do like the earlier grills as well but a 91 grill just took a core support so I went with that.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Here is mine I just bought a couple weeks ago. 454 hydroboost, th400. gave it a quick bath now it looks much better (although it's still wet thats why it looks so shiny) I wonder if this will buff out?

Everything works on this truck!!!! well everything except AC which is missing the compressor. is the ac system easy to get working again?

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Made a few changes to mine this week. My tires and wheels shipped last Monday and my Atlas springs shipped yesterday. My crossover steering from Offroad Design came this week. I can't wait to get everything put on.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I drove the truck to go get the bed, with plans on just plugging in the bed harness to the truck. They were hanging for the ride over to where the bed was. When we got to the donor truck I found out the wiring was different because it was an old Army truck and the wiring is different. So I drove home with the lights hanging like that. It's all dialed in now. Brand new trailer hitch goes on tomorrow.

Talking Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I ordered 6 in springs. Should be close to 8in from where it is now. The stock springs are frowning tryin to hold up that 12 valve.

Here's mine so far. 1991 3500 4x4, factory 454, 12 inch lift, 22x14 KMC Diesel wheels, 40x15.5x22 Nitto Mud Grapplers. Future plans are to paint it silver and to finish the lipstick red hotrod-inspired interior.

Honestly I have no idea. It's a 3+3 but when I bought it it had front buckets out of a 92 Burb. I have 4 kids so I needed the 6 seats. I grabbed the bench out of my 67 c10 that was in it when my dad bought it but we have no clue what it came out of. It's a get me by. I want seats out of a 2004ish silverado.

Haha this made me laugh. I am more of a big lifted 4x4 guy myself but I definitely approximate lowered rides and building something GM didn't but should have is always cool.
