Wood Bed Vendor Question

Has anyone had any experience with Horkey's Wood and Parts out of Windom, MN? How is the quality, fit and service?

Here's a picture of my recently finished red oak from Bruce Horkey - he's a great guy to do business with.

He answered every question I had on the phone.

Re: Wood Bed Vendor Question

I have a Bruce Horkeys White Oak wood bed ready to go into my truck and when I checked the boxes everything is perfect and a carpenter friend of mine said the wood is superior. Just a note as Mar-k products was mentioned on this thread, the wood bed kits Mar-k sella come from Broce Horkey and the bed strips Bruce Horkey sells come from Mar-K and that info came from Mar-K as I bought the strips from them first then ordered the wood bed from Horkeys.

Re: Wood Bed Vendor Question

The wood beds that MAR-K sells are made by MAR-K. I am sorry if there was any confusion about this. We make the wood and bed strips and other truck bed parts here in Oklahoma City and sell them to dealers all over the country as well as to our retail customers.
Our wood beds are made of Oak and Pine. You can find more information about this here:
http://www.mar-k.com/bed_wood.pdf

Hope this helps!

Got my wood from Bruce Horkey also. I agree, great guy and excellent service.
Once I called, you could hear the shop in the background, I knew I was dealing with professionals.
