Arachnophobia!

I DO NOT do spiders! I was out laying tile on my porch floor and I sat down for a minit, looked over at the window and this thing....*all over body shudder* was about 3 feet from my face. Now I got "things" crawling on me and I keep thinking Im seeing things move out the corner of my eye. EEEEssshhhh!!!

I will walk ALL THE WAY around a dead bug to go to the OTHER end of the house, I find my husband and say "bug". He already knows what to do, Only good bug (other than a lady bug) is a dead bug. Thats my story and Im sticking to it!

My lovely wife hates spiders and snakes! So it's my job to kill all of the Black Widow's and Anaconda's we have in and around our house

Re: Arachnophobia!

Well, I was home alone today. So I HAD to do some thing with it. So I got the Bengal spray with the long hose thingie. He was between the window and the screen, on the INSIDE of the porch. I sprayed him with what little I had left, basically it just made him mad. He started running every which way, then right at me, I took the broom to him, knocked him to the floor. He thought he was gonna be smart and go in a crack between the floor tile and the door. Nope, that just made it easier to PULVERIZE him! BBBWWAAHHAHHAHH... This time tomorrow, whats left of his evil carcass will be a permanent fixture under a layer of grout!

Re: Arachnophobia!

OMG! This brings to mind a story. My son Rick was about 20 I guess. Hes a pretty tuff and macho guy. One evening he was going to take a shower at my house, this is when I lived in Hahira, Ga, way out in the country. He went in, starts the water, has just enough time to strip naked, prolly admire his buffness in the mirror ...when all of the sudden, the bathroom door is nearly ripped off the hinges and out runs my big ol tuff man, naked and shrieking like a girl. After I figure out that he is not bleeding or that the house is not on fire, I finally get out of him that there is a spider in the bathroom. Nobody else was there, so once again, I arm myself witht the broom and go in.It was a tiny thing mabey 1/4 inch total. I about FELL OUT laughing. If I had only had a video camera......ah memories...

I did this just the other week, only I was already in the shower an so was the spider. This one was a good 2-3" across. He was hiding in the corner an I guess I got some water on him so as he ran away he went right past my foot.

After I got untangled from the shower curtian out in the bedroom, I killed it, hung the curtian back up ( pulled it down rod an all as I ran away screaming) an finished my shower looking at the floor. I was paranoid for days. I really really hate spiders. They make my skin crawl, I got chill bumps just typing this.....

Most women like the strong, silent type… Fortunately for me, my wife prefers the out-of-shape, mouthy type.

Yea my wife did when she heard the ruckus. She made sure I didn't have to tell anyone by telling them for me. Usually I don't freak out that bad. But when they get close like that I'm a big sissy just like you said

Papa, I am flattered!! I WISH I had a picture like that, I would truly treasure it, tho I wouldnt trade my wonderful husband for the chance . Jack, that is hilarious and scary at the same time...but, that sounds like something my son Rick would do,
