Geez...I'm glad I found this thread.....I was going to do a glossy dark cherry and black but after seeing some of these trucks I really think I should go with a satin black....it just looks SOOOOO GOOOOOD!
I'm thinking about just getting a painter friend of mine to paint it with his painting materials (automotive painter, not house)....I think that would be the best idea

that looks good. did it coat even. or patchy. mean, did the color stay the same thru out?
that an epoxy primer?? heres a couple bad shots of my attempt at a flat job. first time bodywork. first time paint. first attempt at mixing a color. rustoleum. blue and white mix.....

I want to sand the surface rust off my truck and paint the areas with satin white. Can anyone tell me what brand paint in a rattle can to use that will never fade if I keep it waxed? The rest of the paint is a little faded. I also don't want water to go thru it and start it to rust. Thanks.
