Re: 77 yellow gmc swb

Thanks, We worked at getting the panel gaps lined up, had to fill in some the right side rear of the door jam but everything else fit good , those are the 73-74 fender emblems I thought they looked huge to but I like the super custom part, everything body asks if I had them custom made ,Its been nice out so I been trying to get all the loose ends finished up, hopfully next week I can get the windshield/rear window installed so I can finish the interior,

LOL , No taxi but I could maybe deal with the checkered stripe ! I bought the wheels from Wheel vintiques, I would get them without paint, it fell off just sitting in the garage after a year ,

Re: 77 yellow gmc swb

Thanks, I got some more done today, I ran the wires for the dome and cargo lights and installed the new cargo light, I'll never take them wires out ever again ! I also got the tail lights in after some grinding of the housing and the rear bumper set on ,I now see I need to find or make the rear bumper filler plates , I got the fenders from ebay about 5 years ago from a seller about 3 hours away , I paid $500 for the pair

Re: 77 yellow gmc swb

i little trick about those wires , when you take them out feed a lenght of metal wire through the channel by tying it to the end of the wire and feed it in when you pulling the wire
bend a hook on the ends so it doesnt fall in and leave it there during painting that way you can use it to pull the wiring back trough the channel
