looking for some 76 interior pics, non headliner

hey guys, i just picked up a 76 k5 for a daily driver. truck is factory no headliner but HAD rear side panels. also want to ad 3pt seat belts. think its supposed to have dual retractor style. looking to see pictures of what side panels and no headliner looks like (trim) and also with seat belts on panels. been cruising google images for weeks with no luck. I've been a 69-72 guy for years so these are new to me. thanks in advance!

Re: looking for some 76 interior pics, non headliner

I owned a 76 K5 in my 20's but don't have a single picture of it. It was a no headliner truck and had lap belts but it did have the anchor points in the B-pillars for 3 point belts. I don't remember if it had different mounting points for the 3 point retractors though. Someone will have pics. Show us what you bought?

Cool, so it's like my 85 with the mounting boss for the retractors low on the B-pillar. My 76 had side panels, I couldn't remember if those were back there or not. Love the color. Truck looks ready for 35's.

thanks, one retractor is mid panel on the b. the lap retractor is floor mounted. building a set of 16"x10 steel wheels now for it. they will take 73 style 10" dog dish caps. plan on running 315/75/16 34"+ rubber.

the trim panel runs at the hight of the "box rail" from the back all the way to the door weather strip.never goes up the pillar higher than box hight.the middle retractor is bolted to the pillar with the trim panel behind it.with i was better at uploading pics cause i am staring right at it.

From what I'm reading here, you could eliminate the floor mounted lap retractor and use the other three mounting points with later model seat belts?

Re: looking for some 76 interior pics, non headliner

I don't think any year K5 had dual retractor front belts. My '77s both came with 3-point belts and there was just the retractor mounted to the B-pillar. My '82 and '83 belts are the later style that are slightly different in design, but mount and function the same.
