Suburban side marker and tail light gaurds?

I took these off a very rusted out 72 Suburban. I know a good bit about working on the older Chevy trucks. This is the first time I came across these. I'm posting these on this forum hoping someone can shed some light if GM installed them or not. They fit perfectly on these original GM markers and tail lights. They don't seem to be laser cut because there is no sharp edges on the face. The edges are rolled back as if they were pressed out. These are made of stainless steel. I don't own a Suburban. I took the complete lenses and capsules with these guards because they are unique and the yard was getting ready to crush this poor thing. Somebody took the grille off and stuck inside the back of the Suburban. It was perfect in every way. I sold it along time ago. I have a 69 CST10 396 and couldn't use it. Did GM make these? I searched the internet and found nothing. The lenses and stainless looked really bad when I bought them. That was probably why no one else took them off. As you can see, they cleaned up nice.

Welcome to the board. I edited your above post. You have to be a Premium member to post for sale items and they have to be posted in the classified forums. If you click on the word "Subscribe" in the menu bar up toward the top of this page it will explain the different subscription options.

Thanks,
LockDoc
