Ran across this and thought it was a good deal. If I had the money I would probably be thinking about taking a look at it.

I would have a little problem with the cut roof but it has a lot going for it other than that....

Why is that? This is one of the cheaper ones I've seen in the pacific northwest and seems to have most of the rust repair done, with a lot of upgrades. Can't say that I love it or think its complete but a good start nonetheless.

I definitely agree that rag-top scares me. I think I would be looking at getting a donor roof and having a shop weld that in. If I'm not mistaken, that is a single skin roof, with roof braces, so it should be relatively simple conversion back assuming they didn't botch the install.

It could be done but the welder would have to take it really slow on the stitching. The installed soft top may work really well who knows......
