Exclamation 68 Suburban Wiring Harness

I am looking for a wiring harness for my 68 suburban, I did a search here but didnt find any, and I did a search in the web, but only trucks. I guess I can use a wiring harness from a truck it should be the same, correct.

Thanks for your help

Re: 68 Suburban Wiring Harness

There are vendors out there that sell the burb harness.
Or you can contact http://www.wiringharness.com/

I got mine from M&H, and I am very happy with it since it is identical to OEM.

The harness for the burb is different than the PU harness under the dash, since there is a plug for the rear harness that goes up the A pillar.

Pretty sure the engine harness is the same though.

Re: 68 Suburban Wiring Harness

I am using a Painless Wiring 67-72 chevy pickup harnes in my 69. The wires to the rear fit almost perfect going up the a-pillar and down the roof line. plus this is an 18 circuit system, so I can add power windows, locks, and fuel injection down the road.

Re: 68 Suburban Wiring Harness

Well, I order the painless wiring kit from Summit, they have a deal that you get 100 back from painless, so I went with it, I order it last friday and I got it yesterday. Do not know when I will be installing it, but it looks good.

Re: 68 Suburban Wiring Harness

make sure if you have the old wiring harness, you save it....you'll need to splice in some of the connectors from it...the painless one doesn't have them That's a deal on that rebate too!!!
