I used the factory holes in the floorpan but the sidewall anchor holes were non-existent so I had to make those.

I too use Juliano's belts and backing plates and drilled my own holes. The only thing I can offer to the o.p is take the time to fit your belts to YOUR liking. Factory holes are a one size fits all generic deal. If you sit in your seat and have a helper hold the belt mount in various locations you will find the spot that best fits your stature. Then do the same on the passenger's side with your regular shotgun rider in the seat.
