So disaster struck a few months ago.. I was getting ready to head to Torquefest when on the way to a buddies house my oil cooler line blew. I didn't catch it quick enough so my 47K engine is shot.

I basically tore down the truck and decided now was a good time to paint the underside and use some sound deadener. I went with 2 coats Lizard Skin Sound Deadener and 2 coats of Lizard Skin cermanic heat blocker.

I'm about 8 hours from there. We brought a 37 Ford truck that was on Detroit Steels that laid on the ground and a 59 Buick. My truck was suppose to go instead of the Buick.

Put a high mileage engine in the truck that I did some trading for and basically got for free. Figure it was good for now. Truck was only back on the road for 24hrs when a really elderly man came along and ran into it. Damage to the fender and hood. Totally sucked.

That sucks.. does the fender have a crease in it ...looks like you can pull it out .. how bad is the hood

I think it can be worked out without replacing it which would be good since I cut 4" out of the bottom of it. I go Tuesday to have it looked at by a claim center. Not sure how well that'll go

Been a long time since I posted. Been busy teaching and started up a side business with a CNC Plasma table. Business took off which has kept me pretty busy.
