thanks chad, not sure about the few days part though. hopefully they do my driveway tuesday weather permitting,not sure if they can pour it all in one day though 78 yards of concrete is alot to do in one day.

yeah its starting to come together, i needed a little something to keep me going thats why i sprayed the firewall and i did it myself in my shop. its not super slick but no runs and very little orange peel so i am happy.

Wow, you must have a huge driveway......that figures out to be about 6118 sq ft. A good crew can do that in a day....might be a long day, depending on the temperature.

yeah captainfab, its 100ft long and 60x32 between the shop and the house and 16ft wide at the road, then i am pouring a 38x32 beside the shop,probably wont happen tommorrow though,calling for snow just my luck. i did get the driver door stripped tonight and of course its not what i was hoping for but i guess you cant expect alot from 47 year old body parts. i will try to post some pics tommorrow.

started on the driver door today, had a terrible gap at the rear of the door, done some research in paint and body and found a great thread by the astronaut where you use a 1/8 welding rod as a filler, worked great very time consuming but well worth it. the first pic is what i started with and then the progress

WOW, very nice work flips. I think you work faster than anyone I have ever seen before. Your like a 1 man army. It would take me weeks to finish that, LOL. Wow that turned out totally awesome!
Soooooo let me guess here, from the pic of the rod tacked on, to the pic showing a smooth door and filled gap you....
... spot welded the rod probably jumping 4 to 6 inches between each tack until it was fully filled top to bottom... then you ground down your welds flush with the door skin .... then some filler? sanding? then primer?

I gotta ask because the trial and error method I been using is eating up more time than is enjoyable any longer, and man your stuff looks fantastic!

What lowering, if any, has been done on your truck in those photos? I just love the way it sits and would like to use this as a data point for when I get around to putting a truck together someday.

Also...what diameter and width are those wheels, if you don't mind?

Sorry if you covered this elsewhere in the thread. I was mainly looking at photos but was scanning for this info (albeit, 1/4-assedly). I did see that you plan to go lower with drop spindles...so I'm assuming you don't have drop spindles on it now.

the raptor kit is a spray on system, the gun came in the kit i bought, just 109.99 for the whole kit with free shipping and i have enough left to do the insde of my doors.

you got it , so far its just bare metal but it be primed filled and lots and lots of blocking.

as far as the suspension is in the pic, i cut a half a coil off the front coils and heated the rear springs till it set like i wanted. not the best way to do it but it was quick and easy and didnt cost a thing. i am going to run the front springs but with the drop spindles and and 4 inch lowering springs in the rear, should give it a nice rake without being to low. the wheels are 17x8 but i am wanting a 17x9.5 for the rear.

thanks jimmy, i too am at your age 46, i like them both ways but i am not going to far i think it will look ok, as far as the bedside goes everyone is telling me i am crazy but thats one of the things i cant get out of my head so i am going to change it and it will end up as wall art in my garage. i too cant wait to see whats next either. the astronaut done a great thread in the paint and body section on panel gaps thats one thing about this site tons of info.

got the driveway poured today and now i have lots of room for future projects cant get in the garage so i took some pics of the concrete, all 71 1/2 yards of it
