Where doses this wire go? - Turn Signal Harness

This has got to be an easy one, but it's got me stumped...

It's the grey wire with the green connector on it. It comes out of my new turn signal harness all by itself...see photo. I have tested all the functions in the column (I think) and it all works like it should, but this wire is homeless.

Maybe a ground? Or power for the Shift Indicator Light (I did not look for that actually)? Thanks in advance!

It may be for the light in the heat/AC control panel. Not sure.

No, I changed my mind on that, I'm thinking you might be correct on the shift indicator light that the tilt columns had....

That plugs into your fuse panel for the gear indicator light.

That would only be for tilts then. All of the non-tilt indicators had the fiber optic cable from the cluster lights.
