Got the cab in final paint today,thanks to my son.He did a great job,Flat black and flat gray,and will finish it with a flat red pin strip at the color line when finished.!! Thanks Daniel.!!!!!

Finished one door,need to put the felts and weather stripping back in,then the glass. Look Mom no door handles,came out nice.!!!!!!!!! Finish painting the driver door next week,and be ready to hang them in a couple of weeks.!!

Starting to look like a truck again.!!! All new felts and weather striping in the doors.Got them hung and adjusted,finished the front fenders,New convo pros and new tires in a couple of weeks.Ran the motor for all most an hour, straight headers no muffler's yet.The ol 540 was rattling the neighbor hood.!!!LOL

New rims and tires on the truck,convo pros all the way around and some FAT 29 x 15 x 15 MT drag radials for the back.!! Also putting the hurst pistol grip shifter in ,should be able to back it out of the shop under power in a couple of weeks.!!! Just need to get the drive shaft cut.!!

I cut the stock 12 bolt 4 inches on both sides,and went with 6-1/2 back space on a 12" wide rim.Could have used a 6 back space or a little lees cut on the rear.To get the perfect fit I had to use a 1/4" spacer to clear the frame enough to feel good.LOL.!! I put the bed on it tonite and a fender,the 15." drag radial has 3/4" clearance to the out side of the fender.!!

Thank you very much for the info! We're currently trying to decide what wheels we want to run, so we can see what backspacing is available, so we know how much to narrow the axle.

Almost there,all the glass back in the truck,bed back on.Still have too install the wood and strips,and paint the side steps and hood.Went for a ride on Monday, "O MY GAWD".!!! It will lay rubber at 55 mph.!!!
