You got that right. I had a '96 Jeep Cherokee I paid 2 grand for. Heck of an off road machine. And cheap!

It would be cool if we could license little stuff like this. Just restrict them from interstates or by mph. Like you would use a moped.

Re: mahindra roxor

luckily here in Bama we can licence off road vehicles if they meet some basic requirements....and they are banned from the interstate....
the little Japanese mini trucks are everywhere around here...even the big city near me has a small flete of them that the street dept uses...
I can see the roxors hitting the road around here before long...

I don't know man, we have some many mopeds around here, drives me nuts. They're supposed to be limited to 45mph roads but they're out on the 55mph roads all the time and back up traffic.

I wonder why they're limited to 45 mph? By Law? The motor and 5 spd combo with as light as they are should be able to go faster than 45 pretty easy?

Re: mahindra roxor

Probably have to meet more safety requirements to be certified above 45 or something like that. I'd like to have one of these if I could run it around my area on the roads

Re: mahindra roxor

that's like the ones im talking about the street dept has...most will run about 60-65mph..scary in something that narrow...most when sold have a block plate on the trans to keep it out of high gear...my buddy has one that he removed the plate...it will fly..and like I said scary...biggest issue with the minitrucks is parts...not a lot of support for them..
i found one I was gonna buy a couple yrs ago....it was a extended cab version with a/c..but the seller "misled" me on it....

Nice Jeep for sure! I was thinking the Mahindra was small scale. But, what is it, about the same as early CJs? Not street legal due to safety standards? Emissions?

It's the same length as a CJ-7 but a little bit narrower, and about 8 inches taller. I'm guessing it's not street legal because of safety. But I bet you could plate them in states that let you plate side by sides and dune buggys. I know in Michigan you used to be able to. But I think they have changed it so you can't now.

I have a Suzuki 4x4 Mini Truck. I use it a lot around the "ranch". The sides of the bed fold down and make a pretty good size flat bed. The truck makes it easy to move non running vehicles around.

I bet that's it. Over 45 mph must kick vehicles into the government mandated safety standards all vehicles have to be built to?

Lets hope it doesn't burst into flames like a skid steer

Every time I see these minitrucks and UTV's I shake my head. For the same or less money you can get a real full sized one. Plus you'd have heat, AC, wipers, doors and a roof. If you want a play thing get a regular ATV, at least they can go between trees when out hunting

If it does I will just let it burn to the ground too..

Mine has all that stuff, well, except the A/C but I wouldn't use that anyway.

We've had two YJ's before this one and have made money on both after driving them for a few years.

Re: mahindra roxor

Agree on Jeeps holding their value if they aren't rusty.

I have a CJ but always wanted a TJ (LJ) so I drove this one back from Nebraska last spring. For all around fun factor they are pretty hard to beat. I drove this more than any of my other toys last summer. I gotta say though, I find the "Jeep thing" (typical newer Jeep owners) and the Jeep wave pretty annoying.

Keeping on topic, I've got less into this than a Roxor and it shouldn't lose value. Cool thing for me at least about the Roxor is it's made in Michigan.
