Yup, that is a Panel Truck. They were the delivery vans of the 60's. Back then actual vans were more of an oddity than workhorse. It is basically a Suburban with no side windows and usually only had the 2 front bucket seats.

Like the ad says, It's a Panel Truck. Basically like mine except mine has some modifications... It could look like the second picture, finished out....

Oh if my truck was running (and out of the garage) I'd call about that one.

Re: is this a suburban?

That one has some potential. No mention of a title though. If the thing is a CA registry and Non-op fees have not been paid, that buggy could get expensive.

I wonder how that would work selling it out of state though. In Iowa if a vehicle hasn't been licensed for three years or more you don't have to pay the back fee, just the current year.

Appears to have Texas tags. Does not look too rusty. Neat vehicle, definitely some potential.

If it were anywhere near Iowa, I'd own it.

Re: is this a suburban?

Looks like a good start for the price. I agree with that being a Texas plate on the front.

Normally yes it's a Suburban, but the curtains make it 'rape truck'!

I hate such comments. Panels were the forerunners to the van. I'd love to own one.

Thanks! I have been worrying since I replied that I might have made you mad. So few people can take a joke you know.
