Re: Power Brake Booster Adapter Bracket

doesnt the 63 gmc use the same clutch/brake master combo as the 60-62? if that is the case i may be interested in a conversion bracket to retain stock postitioning as well.

No it does not. In 1963 GM switched to a mechanical clutch actuation. The '63-'66's are the same as far as the master cylinder mounting is concerned.
If your GMC has a hydraulic clutch with the brake/clutch master combo, then it isn't a '63, it would be a '60-'62. If you need a power brake booster bracket for the '60-'62, I am still in the design stage on that one. If you are interested let me know and I'll see if I can get one done.

I am looking at an aftermarket master but would like to retain the hydro clutch. I am sure I have a 63, but it most def has a hydr clutch and brake master sharing the same cylinder. Has the bracket been made for this setup? I read the entire thread, but I may have missed the answer.

Re: Power Brake Booster Adapter Bracket

Yes the '60-'62 Chevy and '60-'63 GMC booster bracket with the hydraulic clutch has been done for a few years. The for sale thread is here:

There are links to most of my for sale threads in my sig line. Just click on the word HERE in blue.

Re: Power Brake Booster Adapter Bracket

Cool

Thanks for posting the pics

I'll have to add that booster to the compatible boosters list.
