Re: 72 jimmy to 67 chevy blazer

Are you putting a Jimmy tub on a 2wd shortbed frame?
I assume you know the wheelbase is different?

Re: 72 jimmy to 67 chevy blazer

No, I haven't seen this done. All the body mounts will have to be moved on the new frame.
I think it would be easier to add 2wd front suspenion to the original blazer frame.
Many people have done this "conversion".

Re: 72 jimmy to 67 chevy blazer

Don't cut the short wheelbase frame.
Find another 4x4 blazer frame to convert.
I wish I had something to trade for your stepside.
I have complete disc brake front crossmembers if you need one for your conversion.
Also trailing arms and crossmembers.

Do yourself a favor,... and find another blazer frame.
