Transmission question

I have a 69 k10 with the 250 straight six that has the 4 speed with granny gear when shifting into third it’ll sometimes clunk when getting back onto power won’t always do it if I let out the clutch slow and ease on the throttle wondering if this a problem is normal or maybe operator error ?
