$1800 and a weekend later.......

I went from this........

To this........

With the help of.......

It's a 68 short bed. I lowered it 4/6, converted to disc up front and am in the process of converting to power brakes. Wasn't too bad either. I soaked everything in a mixture of ATF and acetone and it worked like a charm.

Plans are to drive it like it is for now. It needs every body panel except the grill and cowl panel, so just collecting sheet metal.

Sweet. The best part is driving it afterwards and feeling the major difference!

Nice! Maybe I'll have to give them a call when I'm ready for that.

Re: $1800 and a weekend later.......

Looks great Rob! Are you going to notch the frame?
Not to hijack but does anyone have a 4" drop in the rear without a notch and do the axle tubes make contact with the frame at all while driving? I want to lower mine 2/4 and didn't know if I should notch it.

"No buck" has 4" drop springs in the back without a notch. Haven't had any problems with it.
