1965 c10 door jam help ??

i know this is gonna sound stupid but i honestly dont know on the 1965 c10s was there a pinch weld across the entire Rocker panel for the weather striping to snap onto? or did it stop just before thr rocker panel and then just go to a flat wall of the floor and the rocker joined up together? because mine i think the Dbag previous owner replaced the rockers patched them in but it now has no pinch weld across the rocker! am i missing something here did this guy screw me with being able to put on my new push on style weather stripping? all the way around the door is the pinch weld just not on the rockers oh and thats both doors too or am i losing it and there is not one that should be there ?

Yes it needs something to attach to, however the sill plate may be able to help. See this thread post #5 and #6 may help: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=6322818
Should look like this - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...66&postcount=5

Re: 1965 c10 door jam help ??

You could either a. have a metal piece welded to the rocker, or b. use the threshold sill plate to hold it down since the pinch or push-on section rides under the lip of the sill plate. Thereby helping to hold it in place there. Other than that c. replace the rocker panel.
