Seems like a nice one.
Something I might even drive.

What might the water-stained passenger kick panel be?
Is that a cowl drain hose shown in the center of the engine bay?

Re: 52 GMC Suburban on CL not mine

That's a nice burb that a guy could see himself road tripping in.

Well, you know Ogre, It coulda been a Corvette engine even though it came in a 3/4 ton four wheel drive burb originally. The casting number on the back of the block is the right one for a Corvette.

In the 60's the local Chevrolet deaership that a friend of mine's grandfather started in the 20's or 30's sold about 3 Corvettes a year but sold about three pairs of Corvette valve covers a week. 30 bucks over the counter and you 59 Impala had a Corvette engine in it.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
