More truth than humor, but I like humor like that... thought was put into it. Don't want to be critical. Where's the humor in that? Not saying I have anything better. My humor is more spontaneous. I'm drawing a blank on my pre-recorded jokes. Here's an old one I'm not saying is any funnier, but...

One, but it takes a long time and the bulb has to want to change.

Okay, here is a story about a dummy that was around 26 years old and had a temper! My 1st wife and I were going out for a evening meal and I wanted to drive my Corvette. It was a 68 convertible and I really liked driving it. We had done some Motor work to it and I had put a Mallory Dual Point Ignition on it. I backed it out of the Garage and as I took off it DIED. I pushed it back up into my driveway and started to check it out. It would turn over but wouldn't fire. Finally I shut the Hood and smacked the Windshield with my Fist!

Crack goes Clear across my windshield side to side. My ex leans over the car and say's" Do you think it will start NOW?"

After I cooled off and waited a day or two I found out I didn't have a good + connection on the coil. Sorta Funny now then Not so FUNNY

As a bagpiper, I play many gigs. Recently I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper's cemetery in the Nova Scotia back country. As I was not familiar with the backwoods, I got lost and I didn't stop for directions.
I finally arrived an hour late and saw the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight. There were only the diggers and crew left and they were eating lunch. I felt badly and apologized to the men for being late.
I went to the side of the grave and looked down and the vault lid was already in place. I didn't know what else to do, so I started to play
The workers put down their lunches and began to gather around. I played out my heart and soul for this man with no family and friends. I played like I've never played before for this homeless man. And as I played "Amazing Grace", the workers began to weep. They wept, I wept, we all wept together. When I finished, I packed up my bagpipes and started for my car. Though my head was hung low, my heart was full.
As I opened the door to my car, I heard one of the workers say, "I never seen anything like that before, and I've been putting in septic tanks for twenty years."
Apparently, I'm still lost....

A penguin is driving along the highway when, suddenly his engine starts running rough and he sees smoke in his rear view mirror. He pulls off the highway and finds the nearest service station, and pulls up to the garage with the car shaking and sputtering. He tells the mechanic what happened, and the mechanic says "OK, give me 10 minutes to check it out."

Meanwhile, the penguin sees an ice cream shop across the street. Thinking this is a perfect time for a tasty treat, he heads over and gets himself an ice cream cone.

After he finishes, he walks back over to the garage, and asks the mechanic "So, did you find out what's wrong?"

The mechanic looks at the penguin and says "It looks like you blew a seal."

The penguin quickly wipes his face and says "Oh, no, that's just the ice cream."



A Texas rancher was visiting a farmer in Netherlands, Europe. The proud Dutch farmer showed him around. "Here is where I grow tomatoes, cucumbers, and squash. Over there I built a play set for my kids, next to the doghouse," the farmer said.
The land was tiny, and the Texan was surprised by its small size. "Is this all your land?" he asked.
"Yes," the dutch farmer said proudly. "This is all mine!"
"You mean this is it? This is all of it?" the Texan said incredulously.
"Yes, yes, this is really all mine!"
"Well, son," said the Texan, "back home I'd get in my car before the sun'd come up and I'd drive and drive and drive, and when the sun set, why, I'd only be halfway across my land!"

"Oh, yes," replied the Dutch farmer wistfully, "I used to have a car like that."
