Thanx, I am hoping to have some updates to post soon. Some of the components we were waiting on are finished at the machine shop so we should be diving back in pretty soon, the escalade truck bodied on 28's leaves the shop tonight and he just took in a crewmax tundra dually to bag and build a bed for.. yeah they dont make a tundra dually... should be cool when it gets done!

AWESOME!

Suspension looks dope. I like the change he did with those uppers, that looks awesome.

How does the lower control arm mount? stock style shaft?

Hell Taylor I don't even know! I am out in Kansas working and have not seen the truck in person since any of this was done! Where are the pics of your steering wheel, I have been waiting patiently!

Re: 89 Crew Cab, Bags, Bodydrop and 24" Billets

UPDATES!! Firewall cleanup begun... just a little something to church it up a little

Also figured out my fuel filler situation. 20 gal RCI fuel cell has been mounted between the rear rails already and I was not sure of where I wanted to place the filler, we have decided to route it through a corner of the bed where a stake pocket would typically reside and use a Hagan magnetic release fuel door with the new pass through gas cap. They are similar to what you would find on a late model ford where you just jam the filler in and PUMP, which most of the guys on the site can relate to I am sure!

Thanks! I was just checking your thread for updates thinking the same thing. I was thinking about running the suburban overhead console in my truck also but I think I have decided to run benches front and rear so I dont think the console is in my future anymore.. which kinda sucks because I have 2 of them in my garage!

Love the way your truck is coming along and I look forward to more progress, thanks again for your kind words on my build as well.

I am usually not a fan of giant wheels but there is something about this one giving me a funny feeling in my pants.
