Just been working on the one truck all morning. I need some things to finish from town and have a hankerin' for a crab cake. It's way past lunch time so to Lu & Joe's I go! I do like to go to my sister's place and paddle on the Shenandoah for my birthday, and hope to soon. No worries about the usual low water that comes mid-summer. But my brother in law's band just happens to be playing at this little place called The Music Cafe over in the next town south. So my sister is coming up soon and we'll go hear them this evening. It's a nice coincidence.

Yeah, I better watch out or next thing you know I'll be getting old. It feels like my birthday just ended. My sister stayed over since my BIL had to head out on the road from the show last night. The show was fantastic, The Nighthawks. Paul is leaving the group in Sept and the new guitar player has already started, so I think the band sounds better than ever with two guitar players and it seems Paul is really shining on his was out.
Today felt like still my birthday because early this morning I picked up my daughter and grandson from my nephew's not too far away. They just got back from the Outer Banks and we had her car here. So hung out with her, my grandson, and my sister all day. Just nice to have people over and especially them. My grandson, 3, is my little buddy. He doesn't leave my side when he's here.
