Re: TMI seats & console

I have the bucket seats, but not the console, in my 72. Happy with them so far. They gave me a few more inches of room compared to the bench seat that was in there. They're on the firmer side, but not bad by any means.

Re: TMI seats & console

Install was easy. Just buy their bracket for the appropriate model years. It uses the factory mounting holes. The hardest part of the install for me was cutting through the carpet and pad to get to the mounting holes .

The seats come mostly assembled, you just have to connect the sliding rail at the bottom and adjustment handle which takes about 5 minutes. Then they bolt to the frame in about another 5-10 minutes.

I did it solo in about an hour.

Very nice, are those seats black? or grey ?
I will be installing them in a 64 C10, with an in cab gas tank, will they give me more room ?

They're black. Whether they give you more room or not depends on what you have now. I had a stock bench seat and they definitely gave me a few more inches of room.
