1966 Hood emblem?
My 66 hood has holes for hood emblem, did these have them from factory?

No, the only trucks with the option of a hood emblem were 60-61 gmc's

do you have a gmc? all gmcs 62-66 had the V6 emblem on the front (except for the inline optioned trucks)
the only chevy with a hood emblem on the side was a 61, both 60 and 61 chevy had a bow tie on the front, and a bowtie with a "V" if they came with a V8.
