Western Chassis

Anybody have any dealings with western chassis lately,I ordered a set of 2 1/2 lowering spindles for my 85 C/10, ordered and paid for them November 10, said will ship on December 10, then found out they won't ship now till January 10. I really don't think that is good business practice, so any other company out there that sells quality spindles that you can run 15x8 rallys withoit having to grind the heck oit of the lower control arms?

Re: Western Chassis

Performance Online bought out Western Chassis.
Not knowing this, I bought spindles online from them. During the process, I learned the spindles weren't being made @ the foundry because of a technical/manufacturing related issue (C20/30 spec for the record).

Instead of allowing me to decide how to proceed, they 'substituted' a different brand in order to "fulfill my order as promised/on-time". The issue w/this is they were planning to substitute a brand that I didn't want AND... even if I did want to use that brand, I could have purchased them elsewhere @ a lower price (there was no compensation/adjustment on the costs/price prior to me cancelling the order).

H*ll no.
I would proceed w/caution.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Western Chassis

So you already have the wheels and are trying to purchase control arms that fit the wheels?

Re: Western Chassis

I was getting a little miffed about not getting my spindles, started a E BAY refund request, and guess what, got a e mail spindles are n there way, there might be a back log on spindles everywhere, they all must be made at the same factory, and they relaease a few at a time to keep people happy, contact ECE and tell them you can't wait any longer or you want a refund, you might get your spindles for X mas.
