200-4R Lockup Question

I have a 200-4R that was built by FB Transmissions in New York probably a good 15 years ago now. When it was built it was built with a non-lockup converter for a drag racing application.

I returned it to a stock converter (1500rpm) for use in my truck, and was going to add a lockup harness and speedo monitor, but:

- What are the odds that the transmission still has whatever internal components it needs to support it? Like the internal harness. Can I check with the pan off?

I'm wondering since it was built as a non-lockup application. I’d hate to buy all of the external stuff, set it up to work with the brake lights and whatnot only to find out it can't do it anyway.

Not being a transmission guy, I don't know if that's something that would survive a performance build.

Thanks for any guess! I'd particularly like to know if there's any way to check with the pan off, since the pan is off at the moment....
