Re: trans line fittings.

97 & up 4L80E http://www.sweetperformance.com/prod...&productId=496 The fitting with the extention on the end goes in the rear port. All LS 4l80Es are this style.

91-96 4L80E http://www.sweetperformance.com/prod...&productId=480

Whatever you do, DO NOT use NPT taper pipe fittings, The are straight pipe thread called NPSM, Some companies try to pass 1/4" NPT off as the correct fitting, You need 1/4" NPSM.

Cline: the longer one goes in the rear port to drop returning cooled fluid further into the transmission, correct?

Do you know the Summit product number by chance?

They dont seem to have the 97 & later 4L80E fittings, The summit brand -6 to 1/4 NPSM for all other GM transmissions is really well priced.

The later 4L80E fittings from Sweetperformance are priced for a pair at $18.00 I doubt you will find these "special" fittings for less.
