Blue truck interior pics

Looking at redoing the interior on my 68 cst. its a factory dark blue with white top truck and thinking of getting away from the blue seat and door panels. I would like to see some of the stuff you guys have done. Thinking of a sadle colored seat and panel and carper. Keep in mind this is an original paint truck so matching the blue would be difficult and i want to break up all the blue

Thank you sir. I've been chasing this truck for years and am stoked to get my hands on it. Big plans for it.

Re: Blue truck interior pics

I'd have to leave that blue. Your replacement pieces may not be 100% color correct, but neither is anything else. It's a different blue than the paint, so I see it broken up some there, then there is the white top

Re: Blue truck interior pics

My truck is Dodge Viper metallic blue with metallic pearl white. I have a black interior. Looks pretty sharp that way. I still need to reupholster my seat with a period correct cover, though.

Re: Blue truck interior pics

Mine is bright blue with a white top, and I used a little black to break things up. Also the interior metal is white.

wow that is one of a kind truck. i'd be proud to find that too! i think something with white accents would be nice inside to break up the blue and tie in with the white roof.

Re: Blue truck interior pics

I took the advice of one of the guys on here (AJ) and started switching out some of the blue on mine to black. I think it looks awesome and really breaks it up nicely. I have since put on a 67-68 steering wheel and still want to add black door panels and visors.

I've seen this truck in person and I can vouch that while it isn't the most rust free original truck I've ever seen (but damn close), it is by FAR the most rust free original SC truck that I've seen in the last 10-15 years.

Re: Blue truck interior pics

I'm personally a fan of color matching interior. It's one of my favorite things about old vehicles. Here's mine, I know it's not blue but it's the same idea

Scott- I love your gauge cluster. Did you fit the autometer stuff yourself?
Since I put my tremec in I'm trying to decide what to do to get my speedo working again. I'm not sure about spending $300 to convert the electrical signal back to mechanical just to keep the stock look. Besides, the speedo is only clocked for 100 mph and by my best guess, my truck will do at least 300 now.
