WTB 3/8 tank to frame fuel line and in cab fuel tank vent loop

A few years back I bought a 70 Longhorn with no fuel tank. I finally got around to swapping in a tank I had out of a 71. I am looking for the steel line that goes from the sending unit through the floor to the fuel line on the frame under the cab (3/8, its a big block truck)Also, if I remember correctly, there is a vent loop that goes up in between the two layers of the cab corner by the rear window. I thought I had the one from the truck I parted out that the fuel tank came out of, but I can't find either one anywhere. Does anyone have either one or can they give me a photo of the vent line (I can bend up my own)?

Re: WTB 3/8 tank to frame fuel line and in cab fuel tank vent loop

Steve, I have the vent loop. I also have the line through the floor, but it's 5/16. I replaced my 250 with a 402 a while back. I replaced the tank with one that was in a cab that I bought and it has a 5/16 line from the sender also. The line that runs along the frame rail up to the fuel pump is also 5/16 and I have not had any fuel starvation issues, but my 402 is mostly stock. I can get pics of the vent loop for you but the other line is still in my old tank in storage.

I think he needs the one with the loop in it that goes up inside the cab corner.... If you have that one too let him know.

If you don't have one I think I do. I will go out and check in a bit.

I don’t have that one. I don’t recall seeing that on my ‘70 cab.

I would ship it to you for the same total as the other piece you bought, $19.75. PM sent.

I don't see any reference to that in the thread. If he shipped it for $15, by the time he packaged it up and took it to the P.O. he lost money on it. This thing is long. I boxed it up and took it to the P.O. to get actual shipping cost and the cheapest was by USPS ground @ $9.32. I would do $19.00 shipped if that would work....

Shipping cost is getting really bad. They just raised the cheapest First Class package to 3 bucks.
