yah i should be putting in new u-joints, and the tranny crossmember and the driveline in tonight and take it for a couple test drives )))

welllll, i got a new ride!!!
its a pro streeted 72 chevy just how i wanted to make my truck but its already done and it holds a centimental value to me,.. we built it when i was like 11 and i begged my dad not to sell it but he did anyways and now i ended up buying it back!!!

it has a 402 big block in it... but im putting my motor in it.. 462 big block.. and i gota 250 shot to go with it. i hope it will run 11's!!! what do you guys think? my 462 has about 550 horse... my new truck has ladder bars, coil overs, 9 inch posi, 3.73's, 22 inch wide tires. the whole 9 yards of a pro street truck!!

im glad to see you got your truck running i can remember when i was doing my first build it took me about 6 months to build the motor on the money i had and the day i went to crank it over for the first time i was so excited and my eyes got as big as golf balls it sounds just so good

I doubt 10s, try closer to mid to low 11s.

I think 10's are possible, but I'm no expert. I figure that truck should be pretty light and on motor I'd think it would run in the 11's and 10's on spray. You should post up in Super73's engine/drag analyzer thread that's probably the best educated guess you can get.
