Your '66 looks real good.
Do you have any pics of your speedo cable routing to your transfer case...
Thanks, Dave...

Your truck. That color. Awesome.

When I find a 2wd SWB, I think that it NEEDS to be that color...

Re: Blitz black paint jobs

Really LOVE these Blitz Black trucks, and would love to PM with someone who has used it before. Tried PMing markeb01 and another member but no luck yet.

Interested in what kind of prep, primer and mix you may have used.

Thanks, and NICE LOOKING VEHICLES!

RedBed at the top of this page is a area that you can search with. Type in John Deere Blitz Black and click on 67-72 chevytrucks.com then search. I found a whole bunch of information on it.

Re: Blitz black paint jobs

I have been searching this topic on this forum and other forums until my eyes bleed. Have lots of good info. Just kinda wanted to chat with someone who had done it...

I have really fallen in love with this look!

I dont get on here much but Ive used it and love it. I painted a 67 mustang coupe with it.

I actually painted my 73 mustangs hood and trunk with it yesterday but made some errors with my gun settings so have to redo it

It does look really sleek, if I didn't live under a scorching summer sun I would do it too.

Re: Blitz black paint jobs

doesnt show great in the garage but for my 73 mustang ive coated the hood, trunk, and accessories with blitz black last weekend. I use a 8:2:1 mix for a little more sheen. 8:1:1 is recommended for automotive but there aerosol is a 10:1 mix
