Project DEATH !!!

Well guys N gals, this is my new 67 Chevy

I don't really know what my long term plans are, but for now Ima paint it off white /w scallops, prolly put my black 20's on it & then just some maintenance stuff

Also the bed is pretty toast & the front passenger side fender is bad too, so Ima try to get another bed & front fender before I paint it
Theres is a lil rust in the floor cuz it didn't get fixed when the PO fixed the rockers, so I'll fix that too
Plus the front end is pretty worn & the trans may be toast

This is it when I got it (sorry no new pics yet)

Re: Project DEATH !!!

Well today I put some of my 20's on the front of it & lowered the rear (I think the front has been dropped a bit already)
So me and my buddy are taking it for a quick spin after the wheels & drop, and we're put'n bout 10-20 mph top a hill & BOOM !!!! We see a wheel go by then a brake drum & sparks & then we stop, hop out he goes to find the wheel while I try to find the brake drum & lug nuts

So I call my dad & have him bring me a jack & a 4-way Rolling Eyes
Then I shove the brakes back in & the drum on, then throw the wheel back on & make sure the frick'n lug nuts are tight this time
And make sure the rest of them were tight around the rest of the truck

So now the truck has a name... DEATH !!!

Sorry but I didn't have my camera, so I didn't get any pics of the whole ordeal

Re: Project DEATH !!!

I still have to run the numbers on the engine, but I do know it's a SBC... lol

I may be getting a 700R4 for it, so that'll be nice... just hope the gears aren't to steep for the OD

Re: Project DEATH !!!

Well guys, its this trucks turn for some attention

My project Killer is taking longer than expected & I need something to drive now, so I will be doing some stuff to this truck to get it on the road & drive it

Nothing special for now

Today I pulled the bed off & replaced it with the bed off of Sinister

Re: Project DEATH !!!

Still have a fair amount to do to it, but it shouldnt take too long

I have to get wood & strips for the bed so I can bolt it down, I need to swap the seat out, the drivers side window regulator needs work, the starter grinds like all git out, I need to check the brakes to make sure they arent worn out, tune it up a lil, & I have to make sure the trans is ok

Plus make sure all the lights & stuff work to get it inspected

Re: Project DEATH !!!

At least you took the 4-wheeler out first!

You look like you have too much fun with these trucks! Keep up the good work.

Re: Project DEATH !!!

Update

Well I had a buddy send me some new starter parts & got them in yesterday, so I fixed the starter today & just have to put it on to see if it solved the problem

Got the exhaust mocked up, just need to trim the length a lil & weld it up

Also worked on the window some & hope that its fixed
