Power Steering

Hello everyone.

I installed an 81 C10 front cross member and power steering gear box in my 64 c10. Question is what size are the fittings in the steering box? They look the same size.

Re: Power Steering

You should be able to buy hoses for a 1981 and have the right fittings

Re: Power Steering

A '81 steering box is also going to have Metric with an o-ring style fittings.

Re: Power Steering

Are they both the same size or is the pressure bigger than return? What are the actual sizes?

Re: Power Steering

Pressure is 18x1.5 and return should be 16x1.5
