Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Here are some of my 97 Tahoe. Was originally a 4x4. Its still on the 4x4 frame but none of the 4x4 stuff is still functional. Has a Complete back half , BOA setup, 22" GM Transit Wheels with 1948 GMC center caps, 12 gallon tank , EDC. Its not perfect by any means but for a daily driver it isnt bad.

Also, that made me look up "gm transit wheels." I had no idea what they were. They look awesome on your Tahoe.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

I can't remember if I posted this before. My girlfriend was driving my halfton when it lost 3rd and 4th gear, so now I'm daily driving the big block 1 ton. (I don't have $$ to burn, either)

I ran across this on google images. Thought it was pretty awesome. Anyone ever seen this in person and possibly know the owner?

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Here's the newest member of the family. '99 Suburban K1500, power windows, locks, and seats, leather seats, and 3rd row seating. 5.7 Vortec with I believe a 4L60-E trans. I haven't looked. This is our first venture into the 96+ 5.7L Vortecs; anything I should know about? We're probably going to give it a tune up, and possibly replace the timing chain.
