Re: New Partz at Nsane HotRodz

You do realize that the floor is the same for a '63 correct?

This is a much needed part to add to the parts available for the '60-'66 trucks. I am glad to see this era of trucks finally receiving some attention.

The manufacturer says "64-66" so that's what we are going with right now. We are ordering a couple up and will post pictures of the install in a week or so .

When did they change from bolt-in trans hump, to welded-in?
That might be the difference.

Re: New Partz at Nsane HotRodz

Was the low hump always weld in and the high hump bolt it? Having this will help save a bunch of cabs that the rear cross brace was rotted in.

Most of the 63 low hump floors I have seen were bolted in.

Re: New Partz at Nsane HotRodz

I have seen some of the early cabs with bolted in low hump trans covers. Also some of the low humps were welded or simply formed as part of the floor. Nothing really specific to a certain year of cab.

The aftermarket parts manufacturers do not always know the exact years of application for the parts they make. I frequently see '63 left out of the years of application.
