Got my ride back (with pics)

Sold it this time last year b/c I could not afford it as my daily driver. Bought it back last for less than I sold it for--with only 3k extra miles too!

'79 K10 Silverado
Every option except for the desperately needed dual tanks.
350/TH 350/ NP 203 (still full time) 3.42 axles 12 bolt rear 10 bolt front
4 inch (all springs) Pro-Comp lift and shocks
35x12.5x15 Pro-Comp X-Terrain tires
Still needs a lot but at least I have a project again.

Speaking of dual tanks, I'm cutting up a box for an 86, do you want the gas door from the left side? I can cut it however big you might want it if you want to weld one into your box. I'll send it to you for whatever ups or whoever charges...

No such thing as a 4x4 C10. C10 is 2wd, K10 is 4wd.

79Silv4x4, your truck looks awesome, I bet it is a blast to drive. Welcome home my friend!

Glad to hear you were lucky enough to get it back. I dont know how many guys on here have stories of selling their truck and then realizing the mistake they made and try to buy it back. I think very few were able to get their truck back. Looks great, I like the height with tire size, looks big and tough, but not over done.

Heres another K10 to make you want one, only mine has 33's instead of 35's.

Looking good! I like the 33s and 4 inch lift. I have a little too much tire for mine so I'm gonna either go back with 33s or a 6 inch lift.

I had trouble deciding between 33's and 35s but glad I went with 33's, they look pretty good I think. I could go for some chrome wheels though, the black wheels go pretty good with the rest of the truck though since it has a blacked out grill and stuff, I also want to replace the rear bumper with a chrome step bumper and add some steps on the side. Its going to be my daily driver again so i'm doing some stuff to make it handle better like new poly bushings in the frame and sway bar and a new steering stabilizer (probably 20 years old). I would also like to re-gear to 4.10 gears to get some power back after the bigger tires and hopefully improve fuel mileage a bit since i'll be able to get back Overdrive. A/C is going to be added soon also.
