68 c20 step side

400 vortec heads

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

got my 400 running it has 692 vortec heads i drilled the steam holes
crane 274 cam
edelbrock performer
hooker competition :-)
quadrajunk for now
it runs like a super deisel, doesn't even get very warm (bad t-stat) and so far if i stay out of the quadraflood it isn't that bad on gas 68 C-20 i guess around 410/ 377 gear

Welcome. Let's see it. You should show some respect for your Quadrajet. I don't know of any aftermarket carbs that are still around after 40 years. If you rebuild it you'll find it's hard to beat. For power "AND" economy. You will have 4.10 gears or lower

You can hope for 4:10 gears. Mine has 4.58's, and 5.38 aren't unheard of. Quick off the line though.
