Re: 77 Cheyenne swb air ride accuair

Had a bit of a tie rod issue of being too long ( combined modular spindles pancaked cross and shortened a arms) enough to put any adjustment in the front end so the cure was some NOS Scout outer tire rods.

Es392r is the number.

You can use your stock adjuster with them also you don't need the aftermarket shorter adjusters.

Re: 77 Cheyenne swb air ride accuair

Ryan got his motor back yesterday and we got it back in the truck. No pic of it in the truck figured I would wait until he had everything on it.He had it bored 30 over took off the marine high rpm heads and I think put vortech heads on it full roller motor it has the comp cams cam and roller rockers so the shorter valve covers would fit.And put a rpm intake on and sold the air gap he wanted a tire fryer .

Had to redo the accuair in the front for the pancaked cross and porter built arms.Ryan had a great idea to use sand rail accessory clamps.

The little sand buggie parts worked out fine ... nice call. The look like they are a custom part that was made specific for the application.

Not to hijack but how's the uni doing?

I did double duty today took off my oil pan ran some sealer on the front and back put it back on changed the oil and filter.Put the Wilwood master on Thursday still need to re bleed the entire brake system.waiting on plug wire loom holders.

Then went to Ryan's house and we worked on getting his headers plugs and accuair back on the front.

Any updates? Has he had any issues with the Ekstensive rear kit? I ordered one today and am looking forward to installing it. The truck looks great!

He drove the truck all last summer on weekends to a few shows with no issues with the back kit.(just make sure you set your pan hard bar up straight at their suggested ride height)

He is slow but sure getting it back together he is a bit further along than this now but here is the last pic I have of it.I am going to try and get the steering relocater plate made this weekend.

I will get a pic of its new lower stance as soon as I can.
