electrical power loss issue
so occasionally i have a problem when i go to start my 01 tahoe and i have no power what so ever. so what i have to do is pop the hood and loosen the negative cable then tighten it back up. so now is this a corrosion problem at the battery or is it a problem further down in the cable itself? and i don't giggle the cable at all, just loosen it a few turns then re-tighten, and then try to giggle the connector at the battery after its been tightened, not the cable.

Have you tried cleaning your battery connections? Also check where your cables connect to ground and to the starter.
