Re: Green & White 73-87's

My '73 was originally 'lime green metallic' and white. I plan on someday going to the original paint scheme but using the 'green apple metallic' that's currently on the roof. Here's how she sits now...

What color interior are you going for? A Saddle or a peanut butter color looks really good with JD green

I have a couple pics from Craigslist when he had it up for sale, if it's the same truck.
Tried to trade for it but he wasnt interested.

Yes, it is spring green and frost white.

IIRC it had drop spindles and springs. No drop member.

Re: Green & White 73-87's

In my opinion, these are some of the best green and whites i've seen:

http://brochures.slosh.com/index.shtml?1975

pages 2, +8.

But i'm old fashioned and like completely stock trucks----i have that independant farmer mentality even though i've never lived on a farm.

Re: Green & White 73-87's

My son's first car... Merry Christmas present!

Came with a 350, SM465 and NP205. 14-bolt rear and 4.56 gears on both axles. 4-wheel disk brakes and a 3-inch suspension lift. We put in new carpet, dashpad and headliner. With peel and stick underlayment its pretty quiet. There's some minor rot at the door corners and front fenders but looks solid otherwise. Next up will be a clutch refresh as we have the rod adjusted to within a few threads of the end. Motor is good but carb is probably ready for a rebuild too.

Here's my '76 with the original green & white paint - really looks like something from the '70s... because it is.
