'72 GMC Custom Camper Wire Loom Label

-
I was removing a few parts from the '72 frame I bought Friday and found this label on the camper/tail light wire loom. It is actually in pretty good shape and I was able to get a pretty good scan of it. The Red and White wires are either 10 or 12 ga. There is also a label on it with the number 7115. Not sure how relevant this is in the whole scheme of things but I think the more info we can get on line now the better it will be for later on.

concur - thanks very much for posting. Did you happen to notice if the truck had the UY1 ("Camper Wiring") RPO on the SPID? That is a separate option from the Custom Camper (which just gave you the script nameplate over the door handle by ordering it - on a 72 GMC).

Re: '72 GMC Custom Camper Wire Loom Label

Jocko, if you were referring to me the answer is yes; UY1 is on the SPID.
You are correct to point out the wiring was not a part of the Custom Camper package as my posting may imply, but rather an option.

I was wondering about the two round plugs. From the picture you posted it appears that the camper/trailer loom was separate from the regular tail light wiring.

I didn't get to see the cab. This was bought as a complete truck, driven from Colorado to Iowa and disassembled so the guy could use the sheet metal on another truck.
