Lowering my truck
I have a 69 c10 swb and I'm trying to lower it just enought to close the wheel wells how should I do it with springs on front and back? Or what?????

Get 5" drop springs for the rear (about 100 bucks) and cut 1.5-2 coils off the front. That's the cheap way, you can easily get carried away with air ride and c notches. Here's a truck I did with the setup described above

I am in the process of doing this on my 69 as well. I am also doing a disk brake conversion, so I have a few more steps involved. I'm taking the entire front suspension, rear axle, and brake system off of a 71 parts truck and putting them on my 69. In the process, I am adding 2" drop springs in the front (and now probably 2.5" drop spindles as well), and 4" drop springs with a 2" lowering block in the rear. Should give me a 4.5" drop in front and 6" in the rear.

5 inch rear spring - 2 1/2 inch ECE drop spindle in front with 1 round cut off the top of the spring.

I cut the front springs one coil also. worked ok but, we barley got the trk aligined and rides a bit rough. next time I'll use 2 " drop spindles for sure.

Don't forget:
Drop shocks Rear shock relocators Adjustable track bar. It more than just spindles and springs.

Well, come to think of it... Yes....lolife and trkenvy sickness it is. I also did the drop shocks front and back. Rear and front shock relocator mounts, plus early classics tube trailing arms. 1 inch drop block too.. Sway bars front and back... Carried away. Couldn't leave good enough alone. The list got so long I don't want to remember it all. Then two years later it still hasn't seen the road yet. But, every part out of the supply cabinet is one step closer to bustin bugs. I'm 3 good weekends away from a test run. Just took most of 8 years to get to the turn. Next truck in waiting is AC '72 long bed with documented 88,000 on the roll. One out of the shop one in. This next one isn't getting the lowering and spindle packages. It's definitely going DD route.
