Re: Jed's 49 3100

Looks Great! I love the electrolysis tank. I used one of those when working on my 48 Cub a few years ago. Amazing how well they work, just takes a little patience and you get results without all the dust and backbreaking work.

I put a late 70's chevy truck speedo in the AD case. Take a look at my build thread for more info.

Re: Jed's 49 3100

thanks
Think I put about 1500 km on it
I've put about 4500 to 5000kms on it in the 3year it been on the road
the box and rear fenders are painted now and last year I started putting in
bear claw latches. I took pics but don't know where they are
this years plans are redo passenger door linkage for the handles don't like the way I did it and replace the door glass that broke doing the latches. don't put the long hinge bolt in the wrong spot with the window half way down and close the door

Re: Jed's 49 3100

I ordered a right and left tail light from brothers this is what they sent me for a left light. it had about a 1/4" of the mounting bolts cut off also had heat shrink tubing on the wires the worst part was it was a right light not a left so no plate light . emailed brothers about it I'm still waiting for them to get back to me . sorry that's not really true I give up waiting and just put the light on. First and last time I will order of brothers
these lights have the two bulbs in them I used a 8 watt bulb for the running lights and a 1156 bulb for brake, turn signal
