FINALLY!!!Now have 1 year only '64 442 dual snorkel air cleaner

I want to fist start out by thanking you guys on the boards that have bought items from me..
With out this place I would still be a$$ out of a badly needed item under my 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442..

I have had my Olds site up since july of '98. With a wanted ad for a 1 year only dual snorkel air cleaner..
The only made 2,999 442 optioned cars that year..No other year air cleaner even comes close..

You ask how rare..
since '98 i have heard of 5 people say they had one for sale , but have only seen 2. I have seen them in magazines and have emailed back and forth to people with '64's that had them..
one sold on ebay last year for over 500.00....

You think people are crazy to pay for tow hooks..

Well I paid 400.00 for this and is in better shape than the 500.00 one.. It still has the original stickers..

I think i am just going to put it on under my hood in the condition it is in....

I hope to have my 442 back on the road this summer. I have had the original 330 rebuilt and I am having the original Muncie M-20 rebuilt right now..

I can't wait till i get her back together and open up that hood at shows and have 442 fans drool over the fact I have the air cleaner..
These are so highly sought after, even more so now that Olds aren't made...

Dmurphy, check out www.realoldspower.com. also, email fcrperformance, you can find their email on the website in my sig. Both are hardcore into oldsmobiles, and ROP is a forum that's home to the fastest oldsmobiles out there. I'm sure someone there could help you out.

That does look real good for an original. I sold a 72 Buick GS 350 ram air snorkle on e-bay last year for $130, these old parts are getting very hard to find anymore.
