My wife changed her mind...

After 3 years of complaining about me spending too much time and money on the truck, I took her and my 5 year old boy to the beach yesterday. When we got back, she said that she was embarassed to ride in the truck, because everyone commented on what a nice truck it was, and she didn't know what to say. She then said she could see that the time was not wasted.

PS. I didn't even have to ask her to brush the sand off of her feet.
( I think she will be a keeper. )

My wife never complained but she often questioned why I work so hard on an old truck. One day I finally convinced her to come with me to a car show at the local drag strip. She was surprised at the attention and compliments the truck received. I even overheard her taking credit for the work ?!?!?.
She now asks if there are any shows that she can attend.

Give her credit for working on the truck....

Even though she may have complained, you still got it done. So in a way she helped on it.

The wife and the trucks

Listen to this one, I'm stationed in Kuwait until early 2005 and been here for while. Seems my wife has pretty much parked her 2000 4 runner and has been driving my 72 4x4 on a constant basis. When ask her why: she likes being higher up so other people (guys) don't stare. Yeah right! I say's " but gas is really expensive and its hard to find a parking place at your offfice". she reply's" i get there early enough to get a good parking space and I'm just driving to work and home so it not that expensive". Go figure. When I get pictures of the house, I see my truck in the drive way and her 4 runner in the garage. Well, wives and women will be what they are and if they enjoy something you like, you are better off. Damn I just hope she dose'nt get a wreck, Man thats my truck and I hope she makes it too. he he!!

Your wife changed her mind and you have to tell us?? As far as I can tell, it is their right.....or so mine tells me.

Nice truck. She just doesn't like to draw attention. My mom was like that, too. It's a good trait.

Brian,

I use GIF Animator and you can use as many frames as you like. The board has a file size limit to avatars (can't remember the numbers right now). So that can play a part in how many pics you might want to try to use, but I can also adjust the file sizes within the program.

Let me know if you want me to make one for you... I'd be glad to.

Here's an example:

What is the drop on that? That's about the stance I want for mine.
My girl keeps trying to take my truck as well. She likes it because it's loud.
