Can someone please decode this vin it's on a short step gmc that I have been looking at but there is no title..

what year is it? gmc's are so hard to decode compaired to chevy. gmc paul's web page has the docode for 67-69. i checked it out but it dosen't match well for you code. this code i used is for a 72. anyway i' ll take a stab at it.

c= conventional cab
e=v8
1=3900-5800 gvw range
04=fenderside pickup
first z=?this should be a number not a letter. number would determin year ex:2 for 72
z=fremont
61551= number of truck off assembly line
